Every piece is handcrafted by our artisans on Lake Como and requires over two hours of dedicated work. The reason is the material we chose. Bamboo fiber is among the finest for what you wear against your skin: it regulates temperature, breathes, and has a softness cotton simply cannot match. But it is also difficult to work with: slippery, unpredictable, unforgiving of imprecision. It demands skilled hands and a technical mastery that very few workshops possess.

La Nuova Dolce Vita Briefs are the most essential expression of LNDV skinwear: minimal in shape, precise in fit, and made to feel almost weightless against the skin. The bamboo fabric has a smooth, fresh touch, with a natural softness that makes them a pleasure to wear, every day. The cut is clean and compact, designed for men who prefer less fabric without giving up comfort, support, or refinement.
Handcrafted and finished in Italy, in an artisan workshop on Lake Como – where each piece takes over two hours to make – they are built around the details you feel most when a garment sits this close to the body. Flat seams help reduce friction, and every finishing detail is chosen to leave nothing uncomfortable against the skin. The fit follows the body with a secure feel, staying discreet under trousers without adding volume.
Bamboo is naturally antibacterial and thermoregulating, helping the fabric stay breathable and comfortable across seasons. These briefs are made for the moments when underwear should do exactly what it needs to do, without asking for attention. Returns
You may exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days of delivery. Once withdrawal is communicated, items must be returned within a further 14 days. Items must be unworn, with tags attached, and returned in original packaging. A return fee of 6 USD / GBP / EUR applies.

This fabric is derived from natural fibers, but has such performance that it can be defined as a fabric with the characteristics of a “technical” material. Working with bamboo viscose requires time, precision and exceptional craftsmanship. Its delicate nature demands expert hands, refined dexterity and a level of care that cannot be rushed. This is why each piece is crafted in Italy by experienced artisans, rather than treated as a standard industrial product.
In addition, the bamboo viscose used by LNDV is the best in the world, and is characterized by incredible properties of breathability, freshness, softness, as well as containing Bamboo Kun, a biological antimicrobial agent.
Finally, our fabric has “odor-absorbing” properties, making it especially suitable for neutralizing odors.
