LNDV was born from two Italian entrepreneurs who, unable to find the perfect underwear, decided to create it themselves. Every garment is handcrafted by skilled artisans in a workshop on Lake Como, using premium bamboo fiber. The result is a product that combines softness, breathability, natural antibacterial properties, and a fit specifically designed for the male body. This is not mass-produced underwear with a higher price tag: it's a product conceived and built in an entirely different way.

Because they are not industrial products. Every LNDV garment is entirely handmade by specialized Italian artisans in a workshop on Lake Como. The bamboo fiber we use requires particular skills and manual dexterity. Some products require several hours of manual work. Add to that a short, controlled supply chain, yarn-dyed fabrics from the textile districts of Biella and Bergamo, and a level of quality control that is only possible at artisanal scale. Our supply chain is short and controlled: fabrics are yarn-dyed in the textile districts of Biella and Bergamo, and garments are crafted on Lake Como. This drastically reduces the transport, consumption, and waste typical of offshored industrial production. Bamboo fiber is a fast-growing natural resource that requires no pesticides. Supporting local craftsmanship also means preserving manufacturing skills passed down through generations. The founders' philosophy is clear: buy less, but buy better.

Bamboo fiber offers several concrete advantages over traditional materials like cotton or synthetics. It is naturally soft, with a silky feel against the skin. It has high breathability, helping maintain a comfortable body temperature throughout the day. It contains Bamboo Kun, a naturally occurring bio-antimicrobial agent already present in the fiber, which naturally fights bacteria and ensures superior hygiene. Additionally, bamboo's natural elasticity allows us to create form-fitting, comfortable garments adapting to the body without leaving marks on the skin.

The key difference is in the making. A mass-produced garment is manufactured in series by automated machinery, with wider tolerances on stitching, fabric tension, and finishing. A handcrafted garment like LNDV is built by hand, piece by piece, by artisans who control every step: from cutting to sewing, from finishing to the waistband elastic. This results in flat seams that don't irritate the skin, a fit calibrated to the male body, and a build quality you can feel from the very first wear. Bamboo fabric, in particular, requires expert manual skills because it is a material that does not lend itself to mass production.

LNDV bamboo fiber garments require a few simple precautions to maintain their properties over time. Machine wash at a maximum of 40°C on a delicate cycle. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Do not dry clean. If needed, iron at low temperature only (maximum 110°C). By following these care instructions, the fabrics retain their softness, elasticity, and antibacterial properties wash after wash.

LNDV garments are built to last. Bamboo fiber is naturally durable and, combined with artisanal craftsmanship, produces garments that maintain their shape, elasticity, and softness over time. The build quality, with flat seams and hand-finished details, reduces wear at critical points. With proper care (40°C, delicate cycle, no tumble dryer), the garments retain their properties for a long time. It's the approach the founders sum up as "buy less, but buy better": fewer garments, but made to last.

LNDV sizes range from S to XXL and are aligned with international standard sizing (IT, EU, DE/CH, FR, US/UK). LNDV products are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and FSC certified. The OEKO-TEX® certification guarantees that fabrics have been tested and found free of substances harmful to health. Each certified garment carries a serial number and the name of the testing body. The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification confirms that the cellulosic fibers used come from sustainably managed forests, respecting biodiversity and local community rights. The choice of raw materials is a matter of principle for LNDV. Our fabrics are yarn-dyed in the textile districts of Biella and Bergamo, two of the areas with the highest concentration of textile expertise in Italy. Every fiber, thread, and fabric is selected to ensure high quality and performance. The bamboo we use is FSC certified, meaning it comes from sustainably managed forests. Working with bamboo fabric requires specific skills that only highly experienced artisans can provide, which is why production takes place entirely in an artisanal workshop on Lake Como.
